Conor Woodman is an international best selling author, TV presenter and broadcaster. His books Around the World in 80 Trades and Unfair Trade have been translated into 10 languages and publsihed worldwide. Unfair Trade was longlisted for the prestigious 2012 Orwell Prize for political writing.

2012 sees the launch of Conor’s new TV series - Scam City - Conor’s round the world guide to getting ripped off. The series is a city-by-city examination looking at how even the most clear-headed tourists can be swindled and victimized. Conor takes a unique behind the curtain look in the world of street gangs as he pursues, interrogates and interviews the very people grabbing at his money.

When not writing books or hosting TV shows, Conor regularly reports back on his travels for the BBC’s flagship current affairs show From Our Own Correspondent and also writes for several magazines including Wanderlust, Conde Nast and Wexas Traveller.

Conor will be appearing at the Hay on Wye and Way With Words literary festivals in 2012.
